Author Biography

  • Tim Wise, University of Salford

    Tim Wise is senior lecturer in musicology and popular music at the University of Salford. He studied music, English literature and linguistics in his native Texas and received his PhD in music from the University of Liverpool. He is writing a book on the semiotics of yodelling in American popular music.
