    María Díez-Ortega is a PhD candidate in the department of Second Language Studies at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Her research interests include task-based language teaching, computer-assisted language learning, and learner corpus research. María has over 10 years of teaching experience; she has taught courses in L2 pedagogy, second language acquisition, English for academic purposes, and Spanish as a foreign language.
