Abstract

Journalist Lela Nargi writes a short memoir about her father and his food experiences as the son of Italian immigrants in the Bronx and later as a mid-century successful man-about-town.

Author Biography

  • Lela Nargi, Independent Scholar

    Lela Nargi is a writer and reporter who lives in Vermont. She is an author, most recently of Around the Table: Women on Food, Cooking, Nourishment, Love…And the Mothers Who Dished it Up for Them (Tarcher/Penguin, June 2005). Her writing 
    has appeared in numerous literary journals, magazines and anthologies. We look forward to reviewing her latest book in a future issue.
