The author recently recorded in a feller to Maître-Chef Michael Peters of The Brass Rail, Hoboken, N. J., his account of the extraordinary exploit which led to the original version of this recipe being brought across the Atlantic to 'Diamond Jim Brady', complemented by the testimony of someone who took down the recipe in the Café Marguery 50 years ago.
