The above-named institute is being set up on the campus of the University of California at Santa Barbara. The author, who is the only non-American Director of it, went to the first meeting of the Board of Directors at Santa Barbara on 2 December last and here gives his impressions of how it seems likely to develop and information about how to join or to obtain further details.
