Abstract

The first part of this article appeared in PPC 2. In this second part C. Anne Wilson surveys in turn the part played in Scotland by the French connection; an Arab connection; the development of the French connection in England from the middle of the 16th to the middle of the 18th century; and two manifestations of the connection - galantine and blancmange.
