Bhattacharya, S C and S Dutta. Classification of the Citrus Fruits of Assam, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Scientific Monograph No 20, 1956
This identifies a wide range of cultivated citrus with a wealth of vernacular names. Much of the fruit is home-grown or in small market gardens which contributes to the diversity. Assam has a similar climate and ecology to northern Myanmar.
Duguid, Naomi, Burma, Rivers of Flavour, Artisan, New York, 2012
The author has travelled extensively in Burma over the last thirty years. The glossary has an entry for lemons and limes which also mentions citrons and also specifically shou thee. There is a citrus salad recipe, shou thee thoke, which again references a specific citrus and then nominates pomelo or grapefruit as an alternative.
