  • Felipe Leandro de Jesus, Georgetown University

    Felipe Leandro de Jesus is a PhD candidate in the Department of Linguistics at Georgetown University, USA. He holds an MA (2015) in linguistic studies and a BA (2013) in English language and literature from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. His main research interests lie in the areas of (critical) discourse analysis, functional linguistics, sociocultural linguistics and multimodality, more specifically in studies that target language use and questions of identity, gender and sexuality.
