Author Biography

  • Gina Mikel Petrie, Washington State University

    Gina Mikel Petrie is a doctoral candidate in computer-assisted language learning at Washington State University. After receiving a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics/TESOL, she taught ESL to adults at Indiana University and Eastern Washington University. While at E.W.U., she researched and taught pronunciation. Currently, she works in teacher education and is the program coordinator for an OELA grant at W.S.U. She co-authored “Evaluating and choosing ESL software” in ESL Magazine (May/June 2002) with Joy Egbert.
