Author Biography

  • Anthony Byrne, Cardiff University
    Anthony Byrne FRCP qualified from University College Dublin and completed his specialist training in palliative medicine in South East Wales. He is medical director of the Marie Curie Hospice, Penarth; Scientific Lead for Palliative Care Research at the Wales Cancer Trials Unit and honorary senior lecturer at Cardiff University. His research interests include exercise and fatigue, outcomes measurement, and patient experience of the research process.
