Author Biography

  • Bernadette Watson, Hong Kong Polytechnic University

    Bernadette Watson received her PhD in psychology (University of Queensland) and is currently Professor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. Her research interests include psychological wellbeing and health, health communication, language and social psychology, and intercultural communication. She is a Fellow of the International Association of Language and Social Psychology, and of the Hong Kong Academy of the Humanities. Her most recent book-length publication is Expanding Horizons in Health Communication – An Asian Perspective (Springer 2000, co-edited with J. Krieger).
