TOWARD AN AUTHORING SYSTEM FOR PRE-ELECTRONIC ENGLISH

Abstract

Designed to be used in an ESP course for students preparing to study basic electronics, this prototype of an authoring system allows the teacher to construct schematic drawings of simple electrical circuits, together with related exercises.  With virtually  no programming skill the teacher can produce a succession of clearly designed, pedagogically useful frames for the student's lesson. This article is based on a demonstration given at the 1985 CALICO Symposium in Baltimore, MD.
