Abstract

Yes, some may ask why a fiercely heterosexual, crocodile-hunting, Harley Davidson-riding Liberal MP from Far North Queensland would fight for gay rights. The answer is quite simple. Discrimination is just not fair.

    The Hon. Warren Entsch MP has been the Federal Member for Leichhardt in Far North Queensland for the last 12 years, representing the Liberal Party. He is retiring at the next election, but has vowed to continue his campaign against discriminatory laws until same-sex couples have the same financial and work-related entitlements as other Australians.
