Abstract

Welcome to the 2nd volume of the Journal of Glacial Archaeology (JOGA). This edition presents a varied offering both in terms of geography and in the kinds of studies presented.

Author Biography

  • Martin Eugene Callanan, Norwegian University of Science and Technology

    Martin Callanan has studied archaeology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology NTNU in Trondheim and at the Universidad de Granada, Spain. He is a Post Doc at the NTNU University Museum, Trondheim, Norway. Callanan was the main organizer of the Frozen Pasts conference in Trondheim in 2010, and is a member of the Norwegian SPARC (Snow Patch Archaeology Research Cooperation) project. Recent publications include Northern Snow Patches (2010) and Central Norwegian Snow Patch Archaeology. Patterns Past and Present (2012).
