Author Biography

  • Grace Edgar, Denison University

    Grace Edgar is a visiting assistant professor of music at Denison University. She received her PhD in historical musicology from Harvard University in 2020. Her research explores the representation of gender in Hollywood action film scores from the 1950s to the 1980s. Her publications are forthcoming in the Journal of the Society for American Music and in the edited volume Music in Action Film: Sounds Like Action! (Routledge, 2021).
