  • Adam M. Possamai, University of Western Sydney
    Adam Possamai is Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Western Sydney and Past President of the Australian Association for the Study of Religions. He was the Programme Coordinator for the Research Committee for the Sociology of Religion at the XVI World Congress of Sociology. He is the author of Religion and Popular Culture: A Hyper-Real Testament (2005, Peter Lang), In Search of New Age (2005, Ashgate), and a book of short stories, Perles Noires (2005, Nuit D’Avril). His new book, Sociology of Religion for Generations X and Y will be published in 2008 by Equinox.
