Lionel Sims Award 2022 -- Announcement of winner

The Journal of Skyscape Archaeology, the Sophia Centre for the Study of Cosmology in Culture of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, the Sophia Centre Press and Bournemouth University are proud to announce that the Lionel Sims Award 2022 for contributions that bridge the gap between anthropological theory and skyscape archaeology has been awarded to Iza Steiner for her work "First Light on Archaic Petroglyphs in East Central Utah as Solstice Markers". Overall, the judges felt that this essay effectively combined anthropology with skyscape archaeology in order to make an original contribution to the field. We look forward to seeing it published in JSA in due course.
