Author Biography

Neil Asher Silberman

Neil Asher Silberman is an author and historian with a special interest in the history, archaeology, and politics of the Near East. A former Guggenheim Fellow, he is a graduate of Wesleyan University and was trained in Near Eastern Archaeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is a contributing editor for Archaeology magazine and a frequent contributor to other archaeological and general interest periodicals.
