Author Biography

  • Ulrika Mårtensson, The Norwegian University of Science and Technology

    Ulrika Mårtensson holds a PhD in Religious studies from Uppsala University, Sweden, and is professor at the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. She teaches courses on the religions of the Middle East and Islam, and her main research areas are early Islamic history and historiography, natural law theory in Islamic contexts, and Qur’anic studies and exegesis.
