Sara Mills, Sheffield Hallam University

Sara Mills is a Research Professor in Linguistics at Sheffield Hallam University. She has published in the areas of gender and politeness; the analysis of sexism and feminist linguistic theory and practice. She is currently working on books on indirectness and on discursive approaches to politeness and impoliteness.
